Amino acid sequence alignment of proteins similar to a carboxylic acid reductase from the fungus Valsa mali and V. mali var. pyri (KUI69596.1 and KUI54166.1, respectively), and AK830_g2733 and AK830_g4721 (KPM43755.1) and KPM41877.1, respectively), from Neonectria ditissima. Valsa canker on apple, caused by the fungus V. mali, is another destructive disease of apples in Eastern Asia. The alignment was generated using Jalview Version 2.11.2.1 [17].
